Supporting Our Heroes

AOC and the AOC Foundation are proud to partner with HeroBox during AOC 2025 to support deployed military personnel stationed around the world. This meaningful collaboration will allow conference attendees to give back to the warfighters who implement the electromagnetic warfare and spectrum operations technologies we advance as a community.

HeroBox connects Americans directly with deployed service members, providing essential items and moral support through personalized care packages. Founded in 2008 by Ryan Housley to support his brother deployed in Iraq, the nonprofit has since facilitated thousands of care packages for military personnel stationed around the globe.

During AOC 2025, stop by Hero HQ (booth 204) in the Expo Hall to help assemble care packages, write personalized notes to deployed service members, and record a brief thank you video.
